Visual artist and Outspoken speaker Shantell Martin regularly asks her audiences, "If you can draw, put your hand up." And what happens? Even in rooms with creatives, only about a third of folks raise their hands. But why? Many of us might ask: Why does our imagination dull as we age? At what point did we lose the “okay” to play?
